Hi guys, I've got a Silverstone FT02 case and while I do really like it, the fans aren't as quiet as I would like them to be. I'm thinking of getting a fan controller to try to improve this, is there a particular brand that is well thought of?

Also, how do I go about setting up the fan controller to work with the fans in the FT02? It's my understanding that three intake fans are hard-wired into the built-in high/low fan controller, so how do I redirect control of this?

I would've thought one of these would do the trick, that way high mode will run the fans at 7V rather than 12V and low mode will be something less.

Didn't think about that, definitely a much cheaper option, thanks I'll take a look into it. To be honest I never use anything but low mode, I just want something that will reduce the noise a little bit. Maybe I'm being too picky but when browsing the web etc, I feel like the fans are too audible.

They also have 3 pin fan connectors on them as well so just plug in like you would normally, any fan controller will do really.

If you only ever use low then using a fan controller will not make them any lower/quieter, i like to use mine to turn them up a bit when gaming but it doesn't really make much difference to the temps.
