Not true.
The aquaero 5 LT has one 4-pin PWM fan header and I think one 2-pin PWM signal header. User just needs to make a 2-pin plug from 2-pin header and 12v power from PSU to 4-pin PWM fan connector to fan or fan hub for many fans on same PWM signal.
The key features of the aquaero 5 include:
· Programmable four channel fan controller
· USB 2.0 and aquabus interface
· Four fan outputs with current measurement
· Versatile control options
· Eight temperature sensor inputs
· Flow sensor input
· Output for IR transmitter
· Three LED outputs
· Potential-free switch
· Two additional power outputs
· Extensive alarm options
· Acoustical alarm
· Speed signal output for status evaluation
· Expandable to a maximum of 10 fan channels
Aquaero 5 series (all basically same) were undeniably the king of fan controllers before aquaero 6 series came out with even more features.
Aquaero 5 LT at £50 is still a very good choice for people who can't afford the much higher £90 price of 6 LT and don't need more than 2x PWM channels.
