Hi
I am getting a Xigmatek Elysium case (please hold off on "why?" its what I need :-) )anyway it does not come with fan controls built in and I am after a controller, anyone got a top 3 or tried and tested....also easy to fit, nothing that will raise the stress levels while trying to fit :-)

Thanks

I have the bitfenix recon. Great 5 fan controller. Also has internet support so you can control your fan manually over a phone/tablet if you wish.

5 is enough, though I would not go lower than 5.
Easy to setup? no issues with it?

Yeah, easy setup. Just connect the fan to the controller and then the controller has extenders to connect to mobo.

You also have temperature sensors for each fan with a little bit of tape to stick it to where you want. I found the tape to be not that great, the sensors kept coming loose.

It depends on what you want from it as they range from the simple twist dials, to touch screen with rpm read outs all the way up to something like the aquaero. The other consideration is how many fans are you planning on running on each channel as they all have a wattage limit.

I ended up with a Lamptron FC-2 which suited my needs and I would recommend it to anyone but it is a 'simple' controller so may not meet your needs if you want things like rpm read outs etc.
