Hi all, I have the P182 with the stock antec fans and I just changed out my stock AMD CPU cooler for a Zalman CNPS 9500 AM2 cooler and not only have it dropped my temps, but allowed me to turn my case fans on low and cut noise to vitually silent.
I am looking to change the Fan Mate 2 controller that came with it to a front 5 1/4 panel controller, I am looking at the Zalman ZM-MFC1 Plus Black Multi Fan Controller which OCUK got on offer for £21.14 to connect up the CPU fan and the case fans.
I know the Antec fans come connected to the 3 switch controllers on the back of the case, but I was wondering if I can still connect the case fans up to the Zalman controller by plugging in the molex to the MFC1 with the switch on high, then control via the panel????, or can the fans be disconnected from the switches????
