I'm looking for a fan controller that will basically allow me to turn my fans from off to full without hassle.

I was looking at something along the lines of the Silverstone FP33-B or the Xilence 3.5" Fan Controller - nice and simple.

I'd like it to control at least 3 fans, 4 or even 5 preferably. It must be able to either turn my fans all the way down so they're silent, or completely off.

I quite like the look of the Scythe Kaze-Master 5.25 Fan Controller. Looks nice, looks easy and can control 4 fans from 0-100%. Anyone had experience with these?

Any suggestions?

Looks better than most, I could do without the Temp readings as they ain't worth a monkeys anyhow, must be a wire you stick near a hotspot.

I prefer 3.5" but that's the neatest I've seen so far
 
Meh, I'm not bothered about the heats either really, it'd just be a bonus if I bought the Kaze-Master, I'd probably just stick one on top of my hard drive and one one my graphic card for the sake of it. I'd never really look at it anyway. :p

Just wondering if the Kaze-master actually turns fans from 0-100% (off-full). I know some fan controllers don't actually turn fans off when on the lowest setting.
 
It cant turn a fan off, I thought you would have picked that up.

Better than most at normally 7v or possibly as low as 5v.

Yes I picked that up, but as it says in the description:
By turning the knob to counter-clockwise all the way, the fan can be stopped.

Fan Speed Range: 0 ~ 7500rpm (Display Range: 30rpm Incremental)

So what is it, 3.7v minimum, or off completely? :rolleyes:
 
No idea, even if your fans wont start up with 3.7v as your slowing then down they will still run.

I will look for reviews. :)

EDITED : Not good results in Google as most are shops selling it in USA but I can read from it the fan can be slowed as far as 3.7v lets it run and then you can turn it fully off. :)

I've seen a few reviews mention you can turn the fan off now, maybe it can cut power to a particular fan when the knob is turned completely down. Maybe a bit like the volume knob on a speaker.
 
I'm tempted as I cant turn of my fans with my 3.5" Controller + I measured it and lowest is 7v but it does give me 2x USB 2.0 ports which is handy as I only need open my Case Door to plug in a USB stick etc.
 
Yep it can turn them off.

Can take 20w per channels too and has 4 of them :) Lots of fans if needed.

Lights are very bright its true but its very easy to "mod" it so they sit back slightly and that make them a lot lot dimmer. Just involves pulling leds back a few millimeters :)
