Use software instead. More control, keeps the bay clear, don't have to turn dials.

Fan controllers are pretty simple devices, pick whichever one you think looks nice.

Sunbeam Rheobus uses blue LED's I think. The Scythe Kaze Masters are also pretty cool if you want a bit more information (temps, rpm). Personally I use a Zalman ZM-MFC1. It controls up to 6 fans and uses red/blue LED's, theyre blue for the first third or so (slowest) and then turn red for the rest.

I prefer using a fan controller too using software as I just find it a bit more convenient. My case is right next to me so if Im watching a film I can turn them down quickly, if im gaming easy to just knock them up a bit. A lot easier than messing round in software. Also means you dont need loads of them plugging into various points on your mobo, can route the cables round the back out the way
