Hey guys,

Does anyone know if this can turn the fans totally off? or can it only put them on low?

Also all my fans are Xilence Redwings, From memory they have a molex which is only 2 pin and another cable that is 2pin that would go into the mobo.

The review says 3 and 4 pin molex, that should mean it can do 2 as well right?

It should be able to turn them completely off, Has adjustable speed between 0 and 100%

In theory, your 2 pin fans should fit fine. If they go onto a normal 3/4 pin mobo header then yes they will plug in.

I had a NZXT fan controller before and if I put a fan to 0% it would for some reason beep very loadly as if the fan had got stuck even though it was me who set it to 0%.
I would also say that I have had 2 fan controllers, one NZXT and one Scythe. They both failed after a few weeks of use so I have vowed to never use one again.
On the connection front I am unsure as the page shows nothing about it. Most have 3 pin fan headers coming out of them and require a 4pin molex to power the fan controller.

what would you go for then Stryda? it was between that one and the scythe but the NZXT seems to be edging it. Could it not be your mobo that was beeping because of some settings in the bios?

Thanks for the heads up Bean :)
