Hello,

I currently use the BitFenix Ronin case with the original rear and front fan that it came with.

However, I'm looking to add a couple more with a fan controller possibly.

Would someone be able to tell or link me a guide on how to install/how the fans link up using a controller since this is my first time using one.

Thanks:)

It's really simple.

The fan controller will likely be powered by a molex so you'd need to plug that in.

Then you just assemble each fan to the controller as desired. The controller may come with extensions.

How complex the controller is depends on which you get. Some are just knob based where you turn for adjustment while others allow auto adjustment by placement of a thermal probe, but still allow manual adjustment if needed.

I use this bitfenix recon

It plugs into the USB header and a molex. Then you plug the fans in to the cables from it (1-5) and position the temperature sensors (1-5) in places that you think are the hottest. So if temp sense 1 gets hot it will increase the speed of fan 1 accordingly.
I've been impressed with it and just leave it set to auto, unless I do some benching then I turn it to max.

Forgot to mention this is the controller I'll be using with some of the BitFenix Spectre fans, where do you put your temperature sensors?

Temp sensors go near the hot things. So a fan that blows air over a hard drive would have its temp sensor stuck to one of the drives. One that provides air to a graphics card would be near the card.

Have ordered 2 top fans and the second front fan as well as the Recon controller, should be with me Tuesday.

Will hopefully be able to get them up and running with no problems but if not I'll post back.

Thanks for the help:)
