I've recently got my hands on the rather brilliant Corsair Carbide 540 Case which has massively tidied up my rig and finally allowed my components to breathe.

Come Christmas, I'm looking to replace the fans on my cooler (Antec Kuhler 620) with 2 x Corsair SP120 Push-Pull and replace all the case fans with Corsair AF120.

With all these extra fans I need a fan controller to let me swap between going full throttle and toning it down when I'm back on the desktop. It must meet the two requirements...

(a) Look good on it's side. As my case will put it on the side, I don't want it to look stupid when it's in the drive bay on its side.

(b) Allow me to make all the changes via a desktop application.

Much appreciated!

There aint many you can do this with.. Bitfenix Recon or an Aquacomputer (altho not sure how these work but i know you can do it without a front bay device)

Now I've not tried it myself, but for quite a high price one would expect a higher quality product. And the two reviews are positive. Not exactly a software solution, but may be what you're looking for. If you have PCI slots free that is ;)
