fan controllers

will all fans run on any fan controllers, i dont have a clue about volt,amps wots etc will some one give me advice no what i need to look at

look at the amps of your fans (on the label) and multple by 12

Make sure the fan controller can handle it as they are normally rated in watts.

A fan controller will normaly say how many watts it can handle per channel. Almost all fan controllers these days will specify they are ok at 10W per channel, as this is the usual wattage range of common high speed fans, i.e. it would be ok to put one 10W fan on one channel. Most normal case fans will be in the 2W range, if that, so if you want you can piggy back multiple fans one each channel as long as you don't bust 10W. Power is volts times amps btw.
