Fan controllers

Evening all

Noticing that the Lamptron fan controllers are selling out so wanted to ask if there was a real difference between the FC5 and the FC6 controllers? They both look smart so wondered if there was much (if any) functional difference?

I am looking to hook up my Apaches to it (not impressed with my Gigabyte mobo PWM function). I assume these would run at full speed on the controllers until turned down?

i would personally consider the FC5, it is a good allrounder and does the job well.

i have the FC2 and that has been flawless, even thoguh it doesnt have all the bells and whistles

you may want to reconsider using pwm fans on a controller like that as in some cases you may be required to do a bit of cutting to get them to fit. especially if you use the extenders.

Now they're all gone!

Any idea when you'll be getting the fc5 or the kaze master ace back in stock? Would prefer go buy them from ocuk than elsewhere
