Fan Controllers

I have a bitfenix, its good, they are all ok really, as long as it lets you preselect your settings. Auto on mine is quiet and i ramp up to 100 on manual if i game loads. Otherwise its good. Easy to use as well. But im sure they are all much of a muchness

Thanks, I'll get an order placed shortly.

I'm gonna run my EK pump through it too hopefully.

At 4 Watts your pump would need to be very low power.

4 Watts is only 0.33A. Some fast fans are higher than that!

Edit: Hard to get exact figures but a pump for a H100i will likely need at least 1 AMP, maybe more.

Thanks for replies, there! Haven't bought the NZXT unit yet.

The lapmptron and Akasa units quoted above look pretty similar. I would probably say the Lamptron shades it with 30w per channel.

Do any of the 2 units have automatic fan control? I was intending to set up a system where upon reaching a certain upper or lower threshold the fans would increase / decrease speed. Is that possible with any of these 2 units.

Price wise, they are much the same so it really boils down to someone's experience of actually owning one.

Thanks again.

I wouldn't buy either the akasa or the nzxt fan controllers. Ive had both and both have been rubbish for different reasons.

Currently use a Lamptron FC6

I would recommend this or the FC5 if you want more wattage per channel
