I've been playing around with fan curve on my 970, and began wondering what sort of settings you guys/gals were using and what sort of results you were getting(i.e temps and volume)?

The default profile is all I use. A good balance between noise and effective cooling.
Fair enough, I'm a bit of a sucker for overly silent, only playing around with it more now as I noticed the gpu was getting into the high 70's.

I had Galax GTX970 in SLI and never saw anything over 68c on both cards (gaming for hours) with the standard stock profile.

On other cards I always use increments of 10 with 1:1 (speed vs temp)
30c-30% 40c-40% 50c-50% etc up till 85-90c where I set it as 100%

Sound wise I use headphones so it doesn't bother me that much.
