I recently bought an Gigabyte P35C DS3R mobo and I have developed a problem.
I have 1 Nexus (120MM) fan - the orange ones as my PC case fan. Its the only fan in the PC and so needs to be on.
Its conencted via a Zalman FanMate on mid speed setting.
The problem is (that i didnt have before) is that when i press the start button it rarely coems on - if i nudge it with my finger it will come on tho.
I thought it might be because the zalman isnt giving it the minimum power it needs but it works before - i have now turned up the zalman to full speed but it still doesnt coem on on pwoer up.
Its now spinning at around 887 RPM. Aso pposed to the 600RPM or so Ihad it on before - its this being caused by the new mobo or by the fan borking up do you thing?
I will give it a go connecting the fan directly to the mobo and see what happens (altho it owuld probably spin too fast for my liking) - any ideas in the emantime?
