Hi everybody.

Since i purchased my new case (HAF 922) and installed all of my fans along side the ones the ones that came with the case.

I now have a Xilence Red Wing 120mm as an exhaust fan at the back, a Red Wing 120 as an intake fan at the bottom of the case and an Enermax Cluster 120 on the heatsink.
This is along side 1x 200mm intake at the front and a
1x 200mm exhaust fan at the top.

Now, the front 200mm intake fan (that came as standard) has its own removable filter so there is no problem there. But the Red wing that i installed at the bottom of the case as an intake fan doesn't have a filter at the moment. I currently have that fan turned of so that the case doesn't fill up with dust.

So, after that long winded explation, my question is;

Can anyone recommend a 120mm fan filter that will fit onto a Xilence Red Wing 120mm that is installed using rubber grommets?

Thanks ;)

Just us some ladies tights cheap and effective...and no not a joke mate works really well. Oh dont be tight buy a new pair (did you see what i did there :p)

My wife gonna hate me tonight ...

And back to "no joke" : I dont think it work :D. My wife claim that her tights are really warm (whenever I complain that she may got cold). So I think it will not let any wind go through it.

OK, i saw this one OcUK OcUK Value 120mm Dust Filter - UV Red

I want to get a proper one so that i can eaily remove it to clean it etc.

Now, does anyone use one of these? It doesn't have any thickness information in the description so if anyone does have one, could you help me out please?

I am using a Xilence Red Wing 120mm fan installed using rubber gromets.
How would i go about installing this to the fan and will it fit OK?

Thanks

OK then cheers guys, i will have a look for the Akasa ones.

Do they come with clips or do i have to get some separately?

Just had a bad feeling. I am going to need one over the area of the case that my PSU intakes air through too aren't I? Seeing as the two intakes in question are under the case, there shouldn't be as much dust under there to get in, so am i OK just leaving the PSU without a filter until i get my mum to buy a pair of tights when she's next out?

Also, Installing the tights as the filter; Do i just cut a square out, with 4 holes for screws and then install it over the grill on the outside of the case?

Cheers

Also, I have just received the 120mm red UV fan filter from OcUK. I will be installing this on the intake fan at the bottom of the case. Now, do i try to install this underneath the case on the outside(not sure whether that would work)? Or inside the case so as the dust gets sucked in, the filter is the last obstacle before it gets through( the easiest solution)?

Just had a look.

They sell one for the top, which i am using as an exhaust fan.
One for the front, which has already got a filter on it.
One for the side panel fan, i have the case with the window instead of the side fan.

Only one i cannot see if one for the bottom.:p

Thanks anyway mate.
