Okay, I'm stumped!

So, I've had an issue with fan control for sometime. I have 10 fans and one D5 pump. 6 Lian SL 120's connected via Lconnect and uni hub. These can be manually controlled through the Lian Li software, otherwise they're pegged at 100%. These fans are not detected by the motherboard or any software.

3 Silent wing 3's connected to a Phanteks hub, same issue as above, pegged at 100% and not detected but no manual control.

1 Silent Wings 3 as exhaust, detected by motherboard and works as intended. D5 pump detected and works fine.

So I've checked all the connections, swapped the Uni fan hub to the spare I had and swapped, no difference. I've tried running the unifans through the Phanteks hub, and switching the headers.

Something is being detected in software, can atleast see the fans connected now but no control and seem locked at around 800rpm.

I'm not sure what else to try, anyone able to help?

Sounds like a problem with the hubs not being properly detected by the usb 2.0 connection, too have 2 different hubs go wrong in the same way is highly unlikely so is most likely a mobo problem and they connect via usb so problem should be there . Reinstalling the usb drivers has small chance of fixing it.

Obviously you have a lot of fans and you will need some fan splitters but this will most likely work. Will bypass the usb connected Hubs and just have all the fans+pump running through the fan headers and controlled by this software.

Already have the software, will give the splitters a try. It's odd as while the uni fans are connected via USB. The Phanteks hub isn't, it's connected to the motherboard via an input cable with a fan header. Will try the USB drivers though.

That's why I'm so confused.
