Ive got the change of getting the above cpu, cheap only thing it doesnt have the fan/heatsink so i was wondering will the one i got with my rubbish amd64 3200 be ok for the processor? or should i invest in a new fan if so which one would be best?

That's what I am using on my Athlon 64 X2 3800+.
Same heatsink/fan............max speed of 1500rpm...
only run it at about 1600rpm, cool as anything...

If wanting to be sure & want a new cooler - this is a very good, cheapish one & quiet too.

Same here, it made a big difference over the stock fan. Well worth the money, and quieter than the AMD fan I was previously using.
