I was looking at Zalman 120's, I think I'm going to get three of them and a dust filter for the side.

Anyway, I was wondering, since I want the Zalman 120 on the side of my PC and my CPU fan, and my top fan to all work in sync so I can cool my PC more effectively what adapters would I need.

My top fan is 4-Pin connector, Zalman is 3-Pin, CPU is 3-Pin. I guess I'll need http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...=48&subcat=153 to start, then would http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CB-007-GE work for putting a 4-Pin into it, and changing it to 3-Pin so I can plug into the first link?

Not sure what you are asking, do your fans need to have molex connections?

See this pic, the smaller plug is a 3 pin and the larger are molex...

If you need the molex, then a lot of fans come with these already included as an adapter.

Oh and btw avoid the Zalman like the plague, they are rubbish fans and actually very noisy. Noctua, Sharkoon, Scythe etc are way better fans.

Well I was asking if the second link could convert molex to 3-Pin so I can put my fan on the top of my PC, into the other link and make it variable speed.

And oh, I thought Zalman wasn't too bad fan company, what other 120mm fans can I get for not a very expensive price?

I've found Xilence to be very good for the price.

Had a 92mm one cooling my 8800GTX on a HR-03Plus heatsink.

I'm looking to get 2 x 120mm ones for my case (stock Lian Li ones are 53CFM but 25dB).

They are only slightly louder than the Noctua (21dB compared to Noctua's 19dB), but provide more airflow (68CFM compared to Noctua's 54CFM), and at less than half the price, they're well worth considering.

:)

I've seen that fan, but people say they are fairly loud. But for the air they shift I think it ay just be worth it, I plan on buying 3 of these, all to suck air in, two on the front by the HDD's, one on the side, and then my two Antec TriCool bigger fans will suck the air out.

They can be loud at full speed, but the pwm function does a good job of taming them. i currently have 5 silent eagles in my case, 3 of the se and two of the standard 2000 rpm models (powered via a fan controller) help to keep my highly clocked q6600 nice and cool.

Oh ok, that seems fine then, I think I'll probably get them then, I'm not too bothered about sound, but I am slightly.

Also I have another question, since http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-031-AK&groupid=701&catid=48&subcat=153 only supports 3 fans, would it be possible to plug in an outlet to a http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-013-AK&groupid=701&catid=48&subcat=153 so I can up them to 4, and I will put another on so I can use 5 all at once. Or would that not be such a great idea? If not, I will be happy with 3 on there.

As the fan splitter adaptor is 3 pin this would mean no pwm function for any fan connected to it.
