Hi all,

Just want somebody to cast their eye over the directions of my fans in my case - I build the PC a little over a year ago and have never been particularly happy over CPU temps - I want to overclock my Ryzen 2600.

Am I right in thinking the only thing that's wrong is the CPU fan should be on the other side of the CPU cooler? As at present it's pushing the air back into the case, not out of the rear fan?

Sorry if I'm being thick - just need confirmation! At present I'm pretty sure it's bringing the air in through the front 3 fans, and pushing it out through the 1 in the rear of the case, and the 2 on the top, but the CPU fan is the wrong way around.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

So in total there are six fans.

Three front intake
Two top exhaust
One rear exhaust
CPU intake

Yep, definitely switch the fan around on the CPU heatsink. That doesn't make sense.

If you do that, the front and back fans are working together.

As hot air rises, anything else will be ejected by the top fans.

If you are able to, you might consider installing a fan on the base as an intake to bring in cooler air from the bottom. Looking at your case, that could help the bottom front intake fan get beyond the PSU.

As @DJai has said, I'd change the CPU fan to be on the front of the cooler and pushing air towards the rear case fan... That way all your fans are working in one motion from front to back

Yeah swap the cpu fan, as you suspected. I had my Ryzen 2600 at 4.1ghz all cores using that same cooler but with an extra fan on it. High 50's under stress. Plenty of headroom...
