Hi, i was wondering if any of you knew of a fan mounting option that didn't require access from the other side because i wont be able to put a bolt on a screw or pull anything through. Something that sort of pops through and opens on the other side and holds the fan in place - it will give me 2 more exhaust fans if i can- if you need any more info don't hesitate to ask :)

Thanks.

Two small spots of superglue or hot glue from a gun. Will twist off if needing to remove later. Otherwise Toggle bolts but you will need a larger hole.

so 2 small spots of super-glue in each corner? i know its super-glue but will that hold? - they would be mounted at top of case i wouldn't want them falling out in use they would wreck my pc.

The longer type rubber anti vibration 'arrows' can be installed from one side.
Getting the larger 'plug' end in first will make you curse a few times if you have big fingers.

i am actually surprised that so little super glue can hold a fan on and when its turning :) if i choose this i may put a bit more on :D
i could use those rivets as well as bit of super glue for extra stability.

shadowscotland would you happen to have a link to any of those i cant find them online.

The push rivets are surprisingly good, I did not have a fan come loose using them.

I do have some of those rubber arrows from my akasa venom fans but they are yellow. If you want them free, mail me in link below with a postal address.

andy.

i dont use outlook - when i click on that link outlook opens any other way ?

You could activate your trust, or just copy the email address from the outlook window that opens and paste it into your app. I assume you use email so for a limited time I will post it here (no spammers please :) )

Velcro works a treat. ;) The tape kind. cut squares then cut squares diagonally and put the hook & loop triangles together on corners of fan, position fan and stick to case. Still easy enough to get off as needed for cleaning etc. Also helps absorb fan vibration. ;)
