Fan on superflow PSU

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if the fan on my superflow PSU should stop spinning at any point... just noticed it's not..

I've got the 1000W Gold PSU. Never seen it stop.. until now.

Is there not a 'hybrid fan mode' switch ? It should be next to the on/off rocker switch on the back of the psu. If you put it on hybrid mode, then it shouldn't spin until it reaches a certain load.

I have the 1000 watt platinum, and i've only ever seen the fan on when mining, i think it comes on at 45 degrees as said above, depending on what position the switch is on.
