The partner has made a complaint about the noise my PC kicks out and it does mildly resemble a jet when all fans are at max so I'm gonna overhaul and buy shiny new fans for everything!
Currently got all the stock Antec 1200 fans in plus 1 crappy corsair one.

In total this makes;

3x 120mm intake
2x 120mm exhaust
1x 200mm exhaust

Whilst I'm at it gonna get some new fans for the cooler too so thats 2x 120mm cooler fans.

Need something quite but powerful, doesn't matter if they get a lil' loud at high rpm as when the GF is near it, it wont be under load :D so basically as quiet as possible at lowest RPM.

Also want to get a nice fan controller for it all to.

Fan colour doesn't matter to me but must be apply to turn LED off if it has them if not no LED's is fine. Spec me up! (No idea for budget never actually bought fans)

YOUR BASKET
1 x NZXT Sentry Mix 2 Fan Controller - Black £25.99
1 x Corsair Fan, SP120 PWM Low Noise High Pressure Fan 4 pin, Dual Pack (CO-9050012-WW) £25.00
5 x Noiseblocker BlackSilent Fan XL2 Fan - 120mm (1500rpm) £5.99 (£29.95)
Total : £90.53 (includes shipping : £8.00 Ex.VAT).
Here is my take on it, keep your exsisting 200mm fan, run the SPs off the motherboard just tweak the fan curve in bios, and the rest off the fan controller. I have this fan controller and it works a treat. I am sure someone with more know how will come along shortly, however both my PCs have SIX fans each and are nice and quiet at the lowest setting.

Thanks for the spec. I Like the look of both fans seem good for me. Not sure I like the slider style on the controller though think id prefer little knobs/dials.

Also why keep the current 200mm just out of curiosity?

Its killing you? imagine me having to say it! I'm good for waiting till decent ones come back in stock. yeah i saw that and really liked the look of it.

I've also heard those are loud at full whack, probably better to get a lower RPM fan in the first place that is made to perform at that speed :)

Also not sure if an error but 3 of those fans are cheaper than one :p

No its not a mistake OC do cheap bundles frequently. If you get a lower rpm fan then you lose the flexibility of upping them should you need to. My friend has a pair of them I fitted to his cooler and I dont remember them being that load at full tilt. Im sure I set the motherboard to control them as they are PWM fans and they are silent even while gaming.

Just bought 6 of the akasa air rippers. Nice and cheap atm, I'll grab myself a fan controller in a month or so spent enough recently now just couldnt turn down 3 fans for £9. Gonna chuck two on my cooler, 3 at the front then 1 in the back and keep the corsair one in the back too. No leds that way. hope i can make it nice and quiet.
