I recently Updated my computer (parts listed below) but decided to keep my current case a Antec PLUS1080AMG For more info see
http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=91082

Any way i decided to update the fans in the case
The existings fan Specs are.
2 No 80mm Fans blowing air out the back at the same height as the processor cooler (a Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU Cooler) and 1 No 80mm fan blowing air in through the side of the case positioned over the Graphics card. Also the Power supply draws air from above the cpu and ejects it out the back.

The New fans I have brought are 3 No Noctua NF-R8 80mm Silent Case Fans
(positioned were the exsting fans are) and 1 no Noctua NF-S12 1200RPM 120mm Silent Case Fan.

Im thinking im gonna position the Noctua 120mm fan to the right hand side of the Processor cooler and down a bit. Hopefully this will still give me low pressure in the case and at the same time send cool air straight into the air path of the processor cooler.

Any thoughts or comments on the position of the 120mm fan would be much appreciated:)

what cooler have u got, as if u start sending air towards it, it might affect the way the air exits out of the cooler....

I would try and place it at the front of the case to suck air in. thats what i have done.

Experiment. Airflow is a hugely complex subject and it would require a very clever specialist to know a lot more about your setup to give a complete answer.

So instead monitor temps under load with the fan in different places.
