Fan question

Hey all

Atm I have a Coolermaster HAF 912 Plus case, and im quite happy with it.

Ive got a GTX 560 Ti and a Phenom II X4 965.

One 120mm fan at the back, one 120 (140?)mm fan at the front, and I now have a free space at the top for a 200mm fan plus on the side which I think isnt necesessary since its 120mm anyway.
Also Titan Fenrir EVO cooler with its 120mm fan inside.

My temps can get a bit on the higher side due to my room being quite hot at times without any air conditioning, except a window which I can open at times.

Anyway, so is a 200mm fan worth purchasing ? AFAIK front fan is intake and back fan is exhaust, and I think im not getting enough air out of the case and hence higher temps, so would it be wise to buy a 200mm thats exhaust ??

Your putting in more air than you are taking out if its a 140mm in front, so your not getting a good air flow through the case, if it was me l would put the 200mm fan in the top.

Looking on the Coolermaster site it says the case supports:

Front: 200 mm red LED fan x 1, 700RPM,19dBA (can be swapped for two 120mm fans)
Top: Room for 1x 200 mm black fan (also can be swapped with two 120mm fans)
Rear: 120 mm black fan x 1, 1200 RPM, 17 dBA
Side: Room for 1x 120/140 mm fan

So it sounds like the front fan may be a 200mm, so a top 200mm fan may help to balance things out (although I'm sure the air will find it's own way out!)
Also worth noting that you can swap the 200mm fans for 2 x 120mm fans. 200mm fans are likely to be better, but there's probably a bigger selection of 120mm fans to choose from.

it should be a red led 200mm fan in front called "coolermaster Megaflow"

Yup grab another 200mm for top, possibly add a 120mm side fan also.

you could also upgrade the exhaust 120mm fan to something more powerful like an akasa viper

whats your cable management like? i bought some cheap zip ties and tidied up a lot of my loose cables (non modular psu) and got a 1C drop in temps.

you can pick up bags of like 100 cable ties for very cheap.
