at the moment i have two cheap no name 120mm fans on my 240 radiator, but the wife is buying me a nice new case for chrimbo, so i will have the space to have 4 new 120's in a push pull config on the rad.
of course the question is which fans to go for.

at the moment I'm liking the look of these Yate Loon D12SL-12 120mm Fan - Black [D12SL-12] but mainly because they are cheap :).

the new enermax ones seem quite good but they are all out of stock, so really I'm open to suggestions.

The vipers are very good, (use two on a cooler), but they are pretty expensive at £15.00 a pop, yate loons are great value and pretty decent, ocuk's price is even cheaper than the already low £5.00 that i paid for yates from another shop.

like i said they r gr8, i have 2of them on my cpu cool for pulling n pushing keeps the temps down really well with a lovely air flow, £15 is a lot for 1 fan but deffo get moneys worth out of them ;)

Two 38mm yate loons are likely to outperform pretty much any 25mm thick ones in push pull. Size isn't a constraint if you're putting a fan either side, so why not go for 38mm on one side only?

Shrouds between the fan and the radiator are a good idea. The performance of 25mm + shroud is roughly equal to two 25mm fans in push pull without a shroud.

If your heart is set on 25mm, I believe the gentle typhoons are better than most. If you want the top of the range, it's pretty much any 38mm san ace model.

I have 6 of those Yates I purchased a couple years ago for case fans and for the money they are great. pretty quiet and puff a decent amount of air. If I was to do it again though I would probably step up to the D12SM-12 M for medium to push a little more air but mine is a all air system and no WCing. Depends on how quiet you want it.
