Well thought this might interest a few people... Have run a little experiment showing the effect of Fan Speed on CPU CoreTemps...
A little background first...
Test was carried out @ 3.825Ghz on my rig consisting of 3 Delta's and a Ultra 120 - Extreme more info on the rig can be found here
I just wanted to demonstrate how airflow effects temps but also given various fanspeeds people should beable to get a "ruff" idea of where there fan cooler fits and what they could get if they could put up with some jet engines...
For the test I ran a control of my system at idle and then a large FFT's test to show load temps... I didnt use small FFT's as I didnt want to fry my CPU @ lower fanspeeds... I also am running at 3.825 Ghz as I tried this at stock and got bugger all difference in temps
so needed a setup that put some heat out 
I should mention ambient according to the heating in my hall is a rather toasty 24c (g/f is ill!!)
