hey guys and gals, im set to order the corsair 700d and decided on getting a h50!

ive done a bit of research and seems push pull for h50 is best!

so just have a few questions!

number 1: I think the 700d has 3 more additional 120mm fan spaces, would 3 vipers be alright?

no.2 there's a side 140mm fan that comes with the 700d, but that would be where the h50 would go, would it be possible to remove that and put it somewhere else? like at the top fan spaces?

no.3 for push pull, could i just use the standard corsair fan with a viper or do i need to use 2 vipers?

no.4 for 700d users, is there enough room to use push pull without having to put a fan outside the case?

thanks in advance people :)

All the fans that come with the 700D are 140mm.
The rear fan will support a 120mm fan & so will the top 3 fan spaces
push/pull should fit inside however it will stick out & depending on you motherboard you may block your 8 pin power connector...

with push pull does it need to be 2 of the same fans? or can i use their corsair supplied fan and a viper?

also are 3 vipers suitable for the top 3 fan spaces?

is there enough slots on a motherboard for all of these fans lol?

Here is my 700D + H50-1. Top vents are for 120mm fans only. I use akasa apaches in push pull. You can position the H50-1 in/on any of the top vents or the side vent. I have mine where it is because it also cools the backplate of the graphics card, resulting in a 10c temp drop (idle).

Corsair recommend two same spec fans. I used a noctua NF-12 and the corsair fan that came with the H50-1 but i had a strange slight buzzing sound, and the noctua was quite loud compared to the corsair supplied H50-1 fan. Your experience might differ from mine?.

hey kedge, thanks a lot for the pic! whats your specs of that rig?

and is your other fan outside the case or are they both inside? cant really see properly :P

Corsair 850W M psu

Overclocked, TIM is MX-2.

Fans are inside of 700D. Corsair supplied 4 certain screws to fix fan to rad, but in the small white box that comes with the case there are some longer screws that are for the lower hard drive case fan but they fit perfect through most 120mm fans and fit snug and tight into the rad as well, really pleased about that.
