So I've got my new pc up and running and I want to overclock it, but before I do I want to sort out my cooling as atm it's a little on the warm side. At the moment I have the following:
1 x Intake fan - Xilence black 120mm
1 x Coolermaster Hyper 212 with stock fan
1 x Exhaust fan - Stock fan that came with Antec 334 case
Unfortunately I don't know the specs of the above fans. I have a feeling all three are pretty naff, especially the coolermaster one as when I put my hand on the other side of the heatsink I can barely feel any air coming through. The intake and exhaust fans are controlled by a fan conroller, the cpu one is plugged into the mobo.
Now I want another fan to put on the other side of the heatsink so I get one pushing and one pulling, both in the direction of the rear exhaust.
Which is the 'most important' fan in the case? I'd imagine either the intake to get the cool air in there in the first place, or the one pushing air across the heatsink.
Also, can you have mismatched fans on the heatsink, if I have powerful one pushing through, and only a weak onie pulling out, will that cause some kind of trapped air in the middle?
And finally, any advice on a fan to get? Want something cheap with a decent balance of noise/performance ratio.
Thanks
