Hi all, this is my first post to go easy on me

I'm looking to build a new system with
A Ryzen 2600, a1080ti and a kraken cpu water cooler. I will probably be using the x470 chipset and let that do the overclocking for me, but I may venture into manual overclocking if that doesn't work to my fancy.

I will be building in the corsair 500d rgb Se because let's face it, that case is sexy.

The case has 3 intake fans at the front, a 120/140 Bay at the back and 3 120/140 bays at the top
My question is, if I have the front 3 fans as an intake, would it be a good idea to have my cpu cooler radiator at the top blowing air out and a single 120 exhaust at the back?
My theory is that the 3 intake fans should be enough airflow to cool the gpu and the rest of the system whilst not heating the air up too hot to cool the cpu rad?

Also would there be a large difference between the single, double and triple kraken radiators?

I would set it up with all front vents with intake fans and radiator in top as exhaust with no rear exhaust with all PCIe back slots removed to allow front to back airflow around GPU to move it's heated exhaust air back and out of case .. or top and front intake with same back venting. I'm afraid you will need more airflow into case for both radiator and GPU needs as exhaust than just front intakes fans can supply. I think you will need at least one more intake fan to use top as exhaust, rear intake is not very functional because of all the heated air coming out the back from PSU and GPU moving up and back in a back intake, and looking at specs / reviews I don't know if there is room in bottom in front of PSU for another intake fan. If there is room for another intake fan the power supply cover would need to be removed because it not only limits airflow but it's vent is over PSU and is too near back of case to be helpful.

Using radiator in top as intake with PCIe slot covers removed and 2x front intakes make be the best way forward.

Here is a link to basic guide to case airflow and how to optimize case airflow for air cooled systems. Using a radiator in top vents means changing some of the flow design, but the basics are still the same .. moving cool air to component coolers while removing their heated air without it mixing with the cool air supply.

Seems a case of sexy not being all that functional to me. :p
