When people say set fan speed at 50% what do they mean?. I have a x870e aorus elite wifi7 and i seen people say i set my thermalright hyper vision 360 to 50% and its fine. Does that mean go into bios and smart fan 6 and set all points to 50% on graph instead of having a curve?.

you sure they're referring to fan speeds?
And not pump speed?

But yes pump or fans you could set to a fixed rpm
either in the bios
Or using the software from motherboard manufacturer
most people prefer a curve for fans
And fixed rpm for pumps

Some have the option of fixed speed
as well as a curve
If no option for fixed speed then yes
move all points on the curve to 50% or whatever
Speed you require
