Is there anyway I can make Speed Fan automatically change my fans to 80% as soon as it loads? If not, is there other programs that can?

I just want it at 80% all the time though, otherwise when i game it decides that 56C is too hot and puts it to 100%, when it doesnt need to be, because i feel confident with the chip going to at lease 65C before i would consider using 100%

As mmporpheus1 says check your bios for different settings. Sometimes if you're lucky Speedfan can work well with all different fans connected directly to your motherboard. I used to use it to whirr down all my fans.

Sorry, I must have worded the OP wrong. I use SpeedFan, to put my case fan and cpu fan to 80%. However, I want a program to automatically do this when my PC starts up.

speedfan is in my startup, which is why, when I turn on my pc it opens automatically, then I have to change the speed using the buttons. That's why I want something to change the speed automatically.

Yes, but he still need put a Shortcut to the "Speedfan.exe" in his startup.

He can set up Speedfan by reading the info that installs with it.

Help and How-To" in Start/Programs.

Blimey, all my time of using speedfan, i never once noticed the little check box that says 'Automatic Fan Speed', i feel like a fool now. Thanks helemtcheese :)

My Asus P5K-E has a setting in the bios that lets me set the fan speeds to 90, 80, 70 and 60%. Although slightly annoying if you decide you want to change it and you dont like rebooting :)
