Hi all,

So my trusty Gigabyte 670 has 3 fans, 1 of these has stopped working and I've suffered a couple of system crashes today.

My question is a two parter, would a dieing graphics card cause the system to crash. (Black screen, audio playing in loop and forced to turn off).

And secondly, is replacing the cooler easy/viable? Or at this stage should I look to a new card given it is getting a little old now. (It still runs everything I play fine at 1080p).

Thanks in advance for any input! :)

I see, looks like a cooler replacement will be the best option. Temps not great, I've underclocked the card by half, but temps reach around 80c then I get screen flickering... :D rip gtx 670 cooler. May look at the MM for a new one possibly.

Edit - The fan doesn't start at any point, even during booting up completely dead.

Edit 2 - Any recommendations on a new card from Overclockers that has the same power as a 670? And separately any recommendations for a used card besides 670?
