Fan Upgrad

Hi all,

Got super low temps, must be a combination of being lucky and the paste I have. However looking to find a fan to replace my A50 standard job, its quite loud, keen to try find something quieter that can also keep it cool.

Any ideas?

A lot depends on what your temps are now.
A quieter fan will move less air and will not cool as well.

I was on the understanding that the a50 is pretty basic where as the heatsink is decent.. not the case?

Yes, it is pretty basic but think it has a 2000rpm fan.. which is faster than most cooler fans.

But if I had say 1500rpm with better blades that could give same performance and less noise ?

What are your CPU temps now? Why not slow down your present fan to 1500rpm and see how that is?

29-33 idle.

2500k at 4.3.

I will try take it down to 1500, see what happens.
