Passed my DAS in february and had a cbr600f sport for my first bike, i fancied a change so a month ago i got this instead!

2003 ZX6R B1H, 11k miles, fsh and came with some extras

Akrapovic Can
Braided brake hoses
Tail tidy/mini rear indicators
Tinted double bubble
cat 1 alarm
R+G crash bungs, rear bobbins and bar ends

planned extras: perhaps stubby the can (or sell it and get a stubby instead), some flush mount indicators, was thinking of some pazzo shorties as well

But anyway here are some pics after a fresh clean:

Super stuff!

I'm hopefully just 2 months away from the full licence and can get something similar in that green - ER-^f.

How does it ride compared to the CBR?

Great bike, and in the only colour that kwaks should be ;)

I took one for a test ride a couple of years ago and was surprised just how much faster it was compared to my old cbr600.

Enjoy it :)

Why does everyone think that everyone who goes up to a big bike will instantly get themselves deaded?

I went from no bike - Z750 - Fazer 1000, loads of people do similar.

Heck yeah lol. I went from my RD 125 to an XJ600 in 87 then to a 900R in 88. Ride like a spacker... is a good term for some eejits out there. :D

Nice ride. Mean Green!

forgot this thread! yeah im on bcf and mcnninjas, ahhh yeh i liked the stubby, tempted to do it myself!

$loth its a 636cc, so still the 600 class, but with some extra cc's to give it some more mid range grunt.

Compared to the cbr, its harsh and hard, the cbr was very comfortable in comparison, probably down to the zx's extremely stiff stock rear shock. But the zx is a lot more aggressive, feels faster, more grunt and sounds awesome. Not that the cbr wasnt fast or sounded poor mind you.

Had it shake its head a few times which always adds a bit of excitement! but yeh, i love it
