Girlfriend is going on a night out for some ones birthday where she works, she works in a factory and all the other girls that work their are pretty much chavs, i kid you not!

Anyway they are all going in fancy dress which just so happens to be burlesque dancers, (google it if unsure, basically strippers) And all the rest of them are pretty much going to get attention from guys, and pull, even though most of the girls she is going with are not single... aparently what happends in (blabla town) stays in blabla town...

This alarms me!! And I have told her that I don’t want her to go, am I being un reasonable to be apprehensive about her going out until 2am, which is when the limo picks them up, 100 miles away from where I live dressed as a hooker?
 
You don't trust your girlfriend then?

Do her a favour, tell her you don't trust her so she can end it and find someone who does.

Out of interest, how old are you both/ how long have you been together?
 
its not that i dont trust her, i dont trust the men that will be around her, she has never been drunk, and never ever wears anything remotely like this kind of thing. So i dont know what she will be like when she is off her face, and she probably doesnt know her limits, will be drinking from 4pm till 2am..

Am i being stupid then? do i not say anything else and just let her get on with it?

im 25, she is 22, been together 1 year 7 months
 
Pretty much what has been said already.

My wife went on a hen party where the theme was burlesque. You can dress tastefully and still go as burlesque theme you know, don't have to look like a hooker. Oh, that and I trust my wife.

Edit, saw your post. If she has never been drunk whats to say she is going to get drunk now?

These are situations you have to let happen. If you don't she will start to hate you controlling her and eventually do what you don't want her to. Stand aside and let her go out and enjoy herself. If she comes back and hasn't done anything, your relationship will be that much stronger for it. If she does do something you've found out about it before marriage/kids etc.
 
Comes down to a simple do you trust her to behave? The men in blabla town can all be idiots and try it on, buts it's your GF deciding to do anything in the end. It's all about trust.

Because the girls she is going with are rough, have you seen misfits? well just imagen the chav out of that, and thats who she is going with. They will be dressing as skimpy as possible, egging my girlfriend on if anyone tries it on with her, they will not let her stay sobre i gaurentee it.

What I meant to type was - if the crowd the hangs out with are scummy factory tarts, what does that make your GF?

If she's one of them, she's getting porked. If she's not, then you have nothing to worry about

Not everyone caves at peer pressure. I once got invited to do some things I shouldn't do while away in Manchester (I had a boyfriend who wasn't there) but ya'know, I didn't, cuz I'm not an idiot and I didn't want to.

I'm sure your girlfriend isn't an idiot either.

If only, i dont live with her, i see her only at the weekend, her going out on saturday, means i do not get to see her for two weeks, as its a long way to travel to see her just for half a day on sunday evening!

Thankfully she is not like them, aparently she doesnt even like them but is going anyway, she says she really doesnt want to go at all and she is dreading it but is still going to go... Wories me that she gives in so easily to something she aparently doesnt want to do.
