Has anyone bought one of these? I have just received mine and will be fitting this weekend. I have been after something like this for a while but only recently taken the plunge. There are much cheaper alternatives (And more expensive) but for me this ticked all the boxes in terms of features having several inputs and supporting HDMI2.1 at 120hz so my PS5 Pro, Amazon Firecube and Series S (Or PC) will be connected for immersive gaming and movie experience. :)

I will update this post with results if anyone is interested.

Be interested see what this is like, and how you get on with it. I’ve currently been using a Govee one with the camera, it’s decent but accuracy can be hit and miss. This looks like a cheaper and better alternative to the Philips Hue one.

I was tempted to buy one but went with the camera based nanoleaf system instead. Interested in hearing your views.

just use a pc as a multimedia player connected to your TV, then you don't need a sync box with hue.

you can even select the area of the screen you want hue to capture, which is nice for any movies with borders.

I have been having a little play with games and movies. Honestly it looks great and does add something to the experience. The only thing that i think at times has a little bit of an issue is reds. If there is something on the edge of the screen that is very red it looks fantastic. So for instance on certain areas of Silent Hill 2 and Alan Wake 2 you get a red hue which really does add to the immersion, same with Blade Bloodbath Scene. However i have noticed that when there is something slightly red on the screen, for instance something thats burgandy piece of clothing, it shows a pretty vibrant red. Whites, blues and greens dont seem to have a issue.

The speed it transitions the colours is very good. If you have it too fast you can get a flickering effect. If you lower it you get a nice colour transition as you pan around the area. Fortnite is a really good example of this in use.

Overall pretty expensive but works well and i am happy with it.
