Fanless card with DisplayPort output?

Hello,

I'm building a new system and I want to buy myself a 24" LED Apple monitor which only has a DisplayPort output.

Is there a fanless graphics card with a DisplayPort output? I don't do much gaming.

Thanks

Unfortunately that adaptor won't work since it has the same Mini DisplayPort end as the Apple Display does :(

Well yes, the Mini DisplayPort end would go to the screen and the DVI end to the graphics card!

My only concern now is about the camera/speakers/mic - apparently all of that goes over the USB 2.0 connection which means it needs some funky drivers for it to work which most probably don't exist for Windows. Sigh...

Why can't PC manufacturers make a screen like that! How hard can it be???

Hm...

It seems that this would only be possible with a DisplayPort GFX card and a Mini-Displayport to Displayport adapter.

But... I can't find a fanless card with Displayport - they all have HDMI, nor a HDMI (male) to Mini-Displayport/DisplayPort (female) adapter.

Can't have everything I guess. So it's either Apple monitor with noisy GFX or Dell monitor and messy desktop with speakers, webcam and mic.

Correction! Matrox makes fanless cards with DisplayPort outputs (M-Series) but they start at around £180
Also, some company called Apogee is working on a HDMI to Mini-Displayport adapter but they don't say when it'll be ready or how much it'll cost.
