Fanless netbooks

Apart from the Dells which other netbooks out at the moment don't have any active cooling?

What are the NC10//N110 like for fan noise?

Really love my Lenovo but the fan is a little noisy when using the machine late at night so could do with switching to something quieter.

The dell mini 10 with the high res screen is looking quite nice but would prefer something with a 6 cell battery that doesn't stick out if I was going to change

I'd suggest they may be prone to long-term reliability issues, which is why you won't see too many of them.

Since you mention battery, I had a Pentium-M laptop which stayed quiet 95% of the time when on battery power. Lasted quite a long time too, about 5 hours on the main battery with wifi on etc. Maybe you should consider a 12" model (eg HP NC4010) if you need something lightweight\thin?

nah ideally wanna stick to 9 or 10 inch and cheap.

A 12inch notebook, even a decent one costs more.

Might have to give the n110 a go as rather vainly I prefer the look of the n110 over the nc10
