Fans adapters

Hi, I have 3 coolermaster fans with 3-pin headers and wondering if there are any adaptors that would allow to control the speed of them, my mobo is Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3

Why can't you control them, what software are you using?

If they are 3 pin you can control them with speedfan or other such software. Are they plugged directly into the motherboard headers?

It's possible that your motherboard may have the ability to only control the CPU_FAN 4 pin header using PWM or voltage so you won't be able to control the 3 pin case fans without some sort of device. The 4 pin SYS_FAN does have some sort of 3 pin voltage control capability but I've never actually tried to get it working with Speedfan or ET6.

If you would like to connect your case fans to your CPU_FAN header along with your cooler and have your motherboard control your case fans in line with CPU temperature have a look at this. It's something I started making for myself but people got interested.
