Ok gonna go watercooling soon and need 2 Fans for my Radiator. Now I want them to be quite but have good CFM obviously but not cost the earth.

I do have one akasa amber but don't think the orange is gonna go with a black rad so will probably sell this.

These are some suggestions I have been given so far:

Yate Loons - Which ones are the D12SL-12 ones anygood as I have read a review in a forum saying they weren't very quite on 7v??

Scythe YLTC, model DFS122512LS - Anyone have any experiance of these?

120mm Sharkoon 1000 "Golf Ball" - These look lovely and not too expensiv, are these ok or should i go for the 2000 ones?

And lastly I have seen the Nexus Black & White fans on sale but out of stock but there 12quid each  , which sounds a lot.

Any other ones you can suggest?

I think all the ones suggested are silent low airflow ones, particularly the nexus.
If thats what you want, then the nexus is the best one, however cfm is fairly poor.

If i were you i'd get a 120x38mm panaflo, they have a lot of cfm and more importantly a lot of pressure to push air through a radiator. You can also undervolt them to be pretty quiet, although that does depend on the model.

I second getting the panaflo fans. They run very quiet at 7v and still push a decent amount of air.

Ok thanks for those suggestions.

I do have this Panaflo already - FBA12G12L is it any good, got a fan controller so can get them to 7volts are they silent at that level?

Also is this hte same fans as I have at the moment:

120x38mm FB-A12G12, NMB MAT FB-120-L1A, 64CFM 30dba @ 12V & 41cfm 19dba @ 7v?

If so will keep my panaflo and just get this fan.

Thanks

It depends what Rad you will be using. A 38mm fan will be pointless on a low restriction Rad.
Not necessarily, these fans are better than 25mm ones anyway because theres room for a bigger motor and bigger blades. I was just pointing out that you get added air pressure aswell. They tend to get a better cfm/noise ratio too.

Will be getting a Thermochill 120.2 rad, and I want quitness as thats the whole point of going watercooled, also maybe get more outta my opty lol.
