For now my new build is mostly complete, the only thing left to do is select some fans. I have 3 Gentle Typhoon 1850's from my old build that id kinda like to hold on to. I still think they compete with some of the best despite them being a few years old, they really are great fans. The only drawback is obviously they are non-pwm nd my ROG board is loaded with 4 pin headers. It would be a shame not to make use of the added flexibility this allows.
I suppose ive got to make a choice - stick with the GTs and not have the same amount of flexibility, (although the ASUS software can wind them down to about %50) or sacrifice the GTs and be able to run whatever i choose to replace them at mega low speeds.
Which way would you go?
