I'm just setting up my custom w/c loop and i'm wondering what fans you recommend for a PA120.3? There will be 5 in total with two of these in the case. I was looking at some SilenX iXtrema Pro 11dBA ones but these are £18 a pop.

Are there any other ones that I should be looking at with respect to price/quietness. Ideally i'm after a quiet setup :) Thanks

I had heard negative things about the silenx's a few years ago so I thought I had better check. Good call on the Nexus fans, just looked them up and they look ideal. Especially when coupled with a fan controller

Just got 3 of these

Delta 120x38mm TFB1212GHE Extreme High Speed

Specifications: 120x120x38mm, 220.01 CFM @ 4600 RPM, 65.0 dBA, 29.40 watts, 2.45 amps, Maximum Air Pressure 26.44 mm H²O, 12v DC, 3 or 3+4 pin Molex header connector(s).

They are mint, form a USA site. My rad is on a tech system on my GFX so stupidl overclcok and extream cooling (i see -15c on both cards). I run the fan at startup at 12v then down to 5v and there silent but boy do they shift some air, then when i bench or laod up the card i got 7v or 12

import some Yate Loons... works out cheaper :)

Good call ! Just done some research on them and they are essentially Nexus fans but a lot cheaper :D Thanks lads i'll be importing these from over the pond as it works out £35 inc shipping for 5 of them with silent gaskets

edit: Thanks for the suggestion of the delta's Drazic but I think they'll be just a tad too noisy for me

Thats not a bad price at all :)

I've ordered a couple of Panaflo's 120x38mm NMB-MAT FB-120 MIA fans
that have 4 pins so can be run @ 7v pushing 50CFM <22db
Google is your friend :D

just bought 3 panaflo M1A's for my black ice rad. im gonna re-use an old fan controller i made that switches between 5v and 12v.

on 5v these things are really quiet and shift a fair ammount of air. even on 12v they aint too loud either, certainly not an intrusive noise like the delta's
