Yes is the simple answer. It will make a difference to your temps. I ran the Akasa Piranha's up front in mine (x3 of them) and they did a good job. Not exactly quiet though, which is kind of the point of this case, but not noisy by any means, just that the stock NZXT ones are more silent (at the expense of higher temps, maybe 5 degrees or so). I had an AIO up top myself (on an OC'd 5820K), and a reference 980, and never had any temp issues at all. CPU was a steady mid-30's idle. Don't let anyone tell you this is a 'hot' case, because it really isn't, just needs some thought. I dare to say in stock config you'd be just fine.
