Hi there ,

Need a bit of help regarding my choice of fans...

I'm replacing the stock fan on my antec Khuler and want to replace them with either these:

also would I be able to plug these fans in this fan controller? :

Just asking as most of my fans are 4 pin fans... and this controller needs 3 pin fans ... would they still fit ?

Sorry about the questions... I have just completed my first build and have no real experience....

Cheers anyway!

got the Alaska apache in the end... excellent fans by the way.

Also got he alaska six channel fan controller , not really pleased with it at the moment as it emits a loud buzzing sound...

Tried it with just one fan running and it still makes the same sound...

Any ideas ?

I run a normal stock fan with an additional Akasa viper in a push pull configuration with my 620. Temps are decent, a couple of degrees cooler than just the single fan. I have the viper connected to the PWM pins on my motherboard.

The 620 is a thin rad, you can add an extra fan but it will only take a couple extra degrees off. I'm not impressed with the Apache myself, it's quiet alright but it doesn't shift a whole lot of air. I switched to a Noctua and got better temps. I've had an Akasa fan controller for years never had any trouble from it, maybe he was just unlucky and got a faulty one.
