Last weekend I built my replacement machine:

Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz (OCd to 4.6ghz)
Asus Maximus VIII Hero
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW Hybrid (Running at 2110 boost clock stable but only 10500 mem clock)
Corsair RM750i 750W '80 Plus Platinum
Samsung 500GB 850 EVO SSD
Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2
Microsoft Windows 10

Plus some salvaged parts from my dead rig, 3x4tb Seagate HD, 1 x Samsung 250gb SSD, Soundblaster Z sound card and a Phillips 40" 4k monitor.

Most of my issues seem to be related to Asus software, AI Suite cause allot of issues, if i touch the fan tuning app the CPU cooler keeps dropping on and off, (USB connection for drivers constantly dropping and reconecting), as such I cant back the fans down and they are constantly running at around 60% making the system louder than I would like on the desktop. In fact under load it doesn't ramp up much at all only to around 70%.

Is it related to the Phanteks fan hub? should i just forget the hub and wire the 3 case fans to the motherboard, and the 2-3 radiator fans to the mother board? if so which fans on which headers?

Any advise on how to best wire this up? the fan headers are under the rads so i don't want to play around too much as its a pain to get to.

latest version is 2202 which is what i have installed.

Its something to do with the HX100i V2 pump power,

I have moved the Phanteks hub to another fan header on the mobo and set the cpu to 100% speed.

i can control it with corsair link (though its not the best software) and set a profile for the other fan header in the bios,

Later im going to break the radiator fans off the Pump waterblock and put them on other headers so i can control them as well, then i should be able to uninstall corsair link and just set the CPU header to 100% pump speed. I will see how quiet that is.

Need some PWM extensions first.
