Fans not spinning 4070ti

Hi OCers

I've just set up my new rig from OCers and booted up a game (DayZ), only to notice the fans not spinning on the GPU. Is this a cause for concern, or do they only kick in when hot?

On another note; I could only get 60fps but that might be because my monitor is 60htz.

It's probably not taxing the card enough for the fans to spin. Disabled Vsync and you should see them spin.

different card but my gpu has a 'no fan mode' when it's not doing much. DayZ recommends a 1060 so I very much doubt it wll be taxing a 4070ti a 60hz, even at 4K imo

Check if vsync is turned off, if it is on turn it off and see if your fps goes higher... it might not because there could be a in built game fps cap.

Thanks you guys; same solution for both (none) problems. The Vsync was on; when toggled off, my fps went to 190 and the fans spinning.
