Basically an article what you would find on a fanboys forum or something with all views put together.

I feel that the Xbox 360 is the console to beat, as it is the most versatile, while offering a comparable graphics experience to what you'll see on the PS3.

A year from now, I expect PS3 games to absolutely blow away anything available on the 360.

O'Rly? I doubt it will 'blow away anything' on the 360, I'm sure both will be on par with eachother.

Of course his little article wouldnt be complete with the nintendo sterotype, kiddy console anyone?

As for the Wii, I'm going to have to disagree with the consensus and call it as I see it: Unless you have very young kids with no video game experience at all, skip out on this console. The Wii is a joke, a novelty console that doesn't offer much staying power.

Are you a serious gamer, then stay away from the wii!

Needless to say, the Nintendo fan boys have come racing out of Mario's castle like those flying monkeys in "The Wizard of Oz." But nothing--not even its surprisingly strong sales--can sugarcoat the fact that the Wii is a joke. It's not for serious gamers at all.

I'll admit its going through a bit of a games drought right now, but it hasnt been out that long really.

It does kind of make sense I guess, but a lot of folk might read into it too much. I know that ninty fans despise the kiddy calling thing, so I can imagine them like the monkeys. :p

Is there much point to this thread? Seems to me like you are trying to start another console wars thread tbh!

Only time will tell to see if the Wii is a kiddy machine, to state that as fact only a few months after launch is naive, but then again its a crap article so i don't expect anything more.

But overall i agree with Joebob, i want my 30 seconds back.

Only one way to settle it.

FIGHT!!!!

People say the Wii isn't for serious gamers like that's a bad thing. I thought the whole point was that it's not for serious gamers?

Don't degrade this thread with content...

We're discussing whether Moore could take Harrison and next will be who's got the hardest dad.

Serious gamers use PCs anyway.

If you're playing on a console to begin with, you can't claim to be a 'serious gamer'
