Am I the only one that enjoys following a game guide to fully complete some of my games?

I'd never need one for a linear shooter but when it comes to big open ended RPGS I actually like to go through and follow each step.

I started with Final Fantasy 7 years ago when I needed a guide to beat Emerald Weapon. Since then I've used them on other occasions for similar games.

Most recently I bought The Witcher 3 guide. This time I've bought it because I can't seem to enjoy the game like everyone else. I lose patience with its menu and skills. So I figure I need to be most efficient on it to enjoy it.

They do take out some of the exploration aspect of games but as I get older I prefer my games more linear anyway I think.

I recently bought the witcher 3 collectors guide for 6 quid. HUKD?

Tbh I just thought it looked really nice and I like just picking it up and feeling the weight

I will just use it as a reference or encyclopaedia if you like for various things I want to know.

Lol yeah mate, thats the same one.

I have never managed to get into the Witcher as much as I've tried. I think if I follow it in some kinda order without running around aimlessly I might not lose my patience
