I haven't purchased any new fans for years the last ones I purchased were those fans with golf in the name!!! Can't even remember what make they were.

My question is regarding the case fans on the Lian Li O11 AIR MINI would you class these fans as quiet in today's market? If you wanted to replace them what fans would be good quieter than these fans.

Pretty specific question. I would expect any fan can be quiet if you run them low enough, but I know for a fact Arctic P14s are because I have them.

The issue with the O11 Air Mini is GPU cooling. CPU cooling will be top notch with those case fans and any cheap thermalright air cooler (I have the Peerless Assassin and it's ideal for quietness) and with the minimal airflow resistance you can run the fans at a very low RPM.

But GPUs tend to be quite starved as there isn't enough room below to pull in air (and the glass side panel doesn't let you pull in air from the sides). GN did a detailed video on it.

So if you're worried about noise, you need a solution for GPU cooling.

Are they too noisy for *you*? that's the main question... There's no point spending money on new fans that are 'technically better', but might not make any real world difference.

Lian-li cases tend to come with pretty decent fans as standard, so I wouldn't consider 'upgrading' them unless you are really unhappy with them.
