Fans RPM doesn't change?

Hi all, I've built a new computer over the holidays and the fans don't seem to move from around ~1250rpm (screenshots below). I'm using a Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 motherboard and two Arctic Cooling PWM fans, plugged into the CHASSIS header on the motherboard. I've tried running different stuff like games, etc. and the fan speed doesn't change - I was just wondering why?

Thanks for any help :)

Maybe the chassis header doesn't support PWM adjustment, or maybe you need to enable fan speed control somewhere.

That's why it's strange because I've enabled Asus Q-Fan in the BIOS and it doesn't seem to be changing anything.

Hada quick look at the manual and there only seems to be a CPU_FAN and a CHA_FAN header. The CPU one is 4 pin with PWM control and the other is just a 3 pin header with no PWM control. The 3 pin one won't have any form of control unless it also allows DC regulation.

If it's on the CPU_FAN header, and that's contradictory to what you have stated, then it should be adjustable.

Ah right I see, thanks for your help. Would it be worth it putting the fans onto the CPU_FAN instead or not? Thanks again.
